Tailoring the tetracycline responsive gene expression system to the mammary gland

Purpose
This page contains information on tailoring the tetracycline responsive gene expression system to the mammary gland using the WAP gene promoter. Recently the tet system has been targeted to several secretory tissues in transgenic mice Abstract).

Targeting the tTA transactivator to the mammary gland

Traudl Robinson generated a WAP-tTA hybrid gene and transgenic mice harboring this gene have been generated by Bob Wall. More about this project will be reported shortly.
