Wei Tang

Wei came to our lab in the summer of 2002 as part of the summer student program and worked with Karen Cui and Keiko Miyoshi. She rejoined our lab after finishing High School in the summer of 2002 to work with Karen on the role of Stat5 in mammary development and erythropoiesis. These studies were perfomed in mice from which the Stat5 locus could be deleted in a cell- and temporal-specific fashion.

Wei left LGP in January 2004 to enroll at the University of Maryland, where she plans to major in business. Wei also joined the US Army Reserves.
