Dr. Ji-Yeon Lee joined LGP in April 2003 as a postdoctoral fellow. She did her graduate work in
Seoul, Korea, where she worked on the identification of genes involved in cold weather adaptation in
plants. In LGP Ji-Yeon plans to characterizing putative Stat5 target genes that have been identified by
microarray analyses. Importantly, she will be the first scientist in LGP to explore the Jak-Stat
pathway in zebrafish.
